The Salem Audubon Society in Salem, Oregon, is an active chapter of the National Audubon Society. Our mission is to connect people to Nature through education focused on birds, other wildlife, habitats, conservation, and the restoration of natural ecosystems. To this end, we promote the enjoyment of birds and environmental stewardship with birding field trips and educational programs, and involve volunteers in education, advocacy, and restoration projects.
The Salem Audubon Society is a charitable organization qualifying as a nonprofit under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service code.

Meeting Minutes
The SAS Board of Directors holds regular monthly meetings except for an occasional month when schedules or lack of pressing matters suggests a bye. Minutes are posted following Board approval at the subsequent month’s meeting.
Minutes documents are listed by year and month in the columns on this page. Those months with posted minutes are highlighted. A month not highlighted indicates there was no Board meeting or minutes posted.
